About MeHello Fellow Quilter -- My name is Joyce Zborower. I've been a fine-crafts artist working in metal, wood, and fiber since 1978. I've been sewing since I was a child -- and quilting for many of those years. During that time, I've developed a unique style that you may find interesting. Also, some of my finishing techniques are different from what you'll find in most quilting books. And some of the tools you'll find here are not mentioned in other quilter's instructions because, since I do work in other craft mediums, I've adapted some of their tools for use with fiber. I've authored six (6) feature "how-to" articles in international craft magazines (on original jewelry design and creation) and nineteen (19) published letters-to-the-editor for an internet news publication regarding my political views. My jewelry work was first accepted into juried gallery shows in 1979 where it won prizes. More recently (March, 2008), one of my original bargello quilt wall hangings was included in the Arizona Quilters Quild show, Wish Upon A Star, in Phoenix, Az. I've served as Exhibition Chair as well as Newsletter Editor for Arizona Designer Craftsman organization, once the largest fine-crafts organization in the country. And I'm also currently active in three business organizations. The purpose of this website is three-fold: 1 -- to teach you about my quilting techniques 2 -- to bring you offers (some free - some not) for products that might interest you 3 -- to earn a commission on those products And one of those products that I'm most pleased with is Site Build It, the website company that makes it possible for you to learn about my quilting techniques.
